About Rebecca Shaw

Rebecca Shaw is a comedy writer-director based in New York.  Her shenanigans have been featured in McSweeney’s, Vulture, Forbes, Time Out New York, and Buzzfeed.  A mockumentary that Rebecca co-wrote/directed/produced/parented, Wax Paul Now, about her viral campaign to get Paul Giamatti a wax statue at Madame Tussauds, has been accepted into multiple film festivals.  In 2018, Rebecca’s video, There’s Something About My Sister, won the New York Independent Film Festival for the sketch comedy category.  Rebecca graduated from Yale with a degree in people-pleasing. Together with Ben Kronengold, she’s writing for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon; Naked in the Rideshare, a book for HarperCollins; and that funny thing your father needs you to explain to him.
